The HG 1/144 GAT-X207 Blitz Gundam is a Bandai Spirits Gunpla from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED. Piloted by Nicol Amalfi, this experimental unit, captured by ZAFT, stands out with its black armor, aggressive silhouette, and specialized equipment for infiltration and close combat.
This High Grade version, at 1/144 scale, reproduces the angular lines of the Blitz Gundam, with its imposing shoulders, characteristic spikes, and a color scheme mixing black, red, purple, and yellow. Its dark appearance gives it an immediately recognizable identity among the five GAT-X units in Gundam SEED.
The Blitz Gundam is equipped with the Mirage Colloid, a stealth technology capable of temporarily rendering the mobile suit invisible while concealing it from detection systems. This ability explains its role as a unit specializing in approach operations, infiltration, and surprise attacks.
The main equipment on the right arm is the Trikeros, a multi-functional offensive and defensive system. This imposing weapon combines a Shield-type defense, a Beam Rifle, a Beam Saber, and three Lancer Darts designed to pierce enemy defenses.
The size of the Trikeros significantly enhances the model's presence. Installed directly on the forearm, it allows the Blitz Gundam to be displayed in various firing, guarding, or close-combat poses without having to completely change its equipment.
The left arm features the Gleipnir, a three-pronged anchor used to grab or strike a target from a distance. The kit includes two claw configurations to represent the equipment closed or fully deployed.
A cable and a dedicated stand are included to display the Gleipnir separated from the arm and to recreate its launch. This gimmick adds more dynamism to the model and allows for the reproduction of one of the Blitz Gundam's most characteristic attacks.
The articulations of the shoulders, arms, waist, and legs allow for varied poses for infiltration, close combat, and attack with the Gleipnir. The R04 version also includes an adapter to mount the model on an Action Base 2, sold separately.
