HGUC 1/144 - RGM-96X Jesta Cannon

The HGUC 1/144 RGM-96X Jesta Cannon is a Bandai Spirits Gunpla from Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn. This heavily equipped version of the Jesta enhances the unit's firepower with additional armor and several weapon systems designed for medium to long-range support.

This High Grade Universal Century version at 1/144 scale retains the Jesta's characteristic military silhouette while adopting a more massive appearance. The reinforcements installed on the torso, shoulders, arms, and legs emphasize its role as a heavy support unit within the Earth Federation forces.

The backpack equipment is one of the model's main features. The right shoulder receives a large Beam Cannon, while the left shoulder houses a Quadruple Multi Launcher. Both armaments can be vertically oriented to adjust their position to the chosen pose.

The Beam Cannon provides the Jesta Cannon with significant medium and long-range firing capability. Its elevated position above the shoulder allows the hands to remain free to use the rest of its equipment while maintaining a heavily armed silhouette.

The Quadruple Multi Launcher is composed of four tubes intended for the use of several types of ammunition. Its compact and mobile structure complements the Beam Cannon and enhances the mobile suit's versatility in different combat situations.

The kit also includes a Beam Rifle equipped with a Grenade Launcher. This specific weapon has a reinforced barrel and a grenade launcher installed under its main part, allowing for a more powerful firing configuration than that of the standard Jesta.

A Shield is provided and can be connected to the backpack via an articulated arm. This system allows the protection to be moved around the model while leaving the hands free to hold the Beam Rifle or use the Beam Saber.

For close combat, the Jesta Cannon has a Beam Saber whose hilt can be stored in the right forearm. Hand Grenades are also reproduced on the side equipment to complete its arsenal.

The included armor parts and accessories also allow the model to be reconfigured into a standard Jesta. This possibility offers several assembly options and allows choosing between the heavily equipped silhouette of the Jesta Cannon and a more classic appearance.
