HG 1/144 - Gundam GMS-Ω GQuuuuuuX

The unique gMS-Ω GQuuuuuuX joins the High Grade lineup in this 1/144 scale HG version from Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX. Piloted notably by Amate Yuzuriha, aka Machu, this Mobile Suit with an immediately recognizable appearance stands out for its atypical proportions, its particularly dynamic silhouette, and its radically different design from traditional Gundam.

This High Grade version accurately reproduces the complex forms of the GQuuuuuuX while offering excellent articulation range. The mechanisms integrated into the torso, hips, and various joints allow for the reproduction of the highly expressive and dynamic poses characteristic of the Mobile Suit in the series.

The backpack also features multiple movable axes, allowing its orientation to be freely adjusted. This significant mobility allows it to follow the body's movements and considerably vary the model's silhouette depending on the chosen pose.

The kit includes a particularly varied arsenal with a Beam Rifle, two Beam Sabers, a shield, and the characteristic Tomenosuke Heat Hawk. These different weapons allow for easy switching between ranged combat and close-quarters engagements.

Zone Gunpla Tips

The GQuuuuuuX has numerous small parts and color separations due to its complex design. Take the time to carefully deburr the finest elements to preserve the sharpness of its silhouette during assembly.

To fully utilize its significant mobility, gradually adjust the torso, hips, and backpack rather than trying to achieve the definitive pose immediately. An Action Base is particularly useful for reproducing aerial poses and the highly dynamic movements characteristic of the GQuuuuuuX.

The model's many reliefs and mechanical details lend themselves very well to light panel lining. A subtle grey on the light parts highlights the complex construction of the armor without overloading its already detailed design.
