HGUC 1/144 - RGM-89S Stark Jegan

Reinforce the ranks of Londo Bell with the Gunpla HGUC 1/144 RGM-89S Stark Jegan from Bandai Spirits, straight out of Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn. This heavily equipped evolution of the Jegan immediately stands out with its imposing additional armor and shoulder-mounted missile launchers.

The Stark Jegan is designed to offer superior firepower and protection compared to a standard Jegan. Its appearance gains significant bulk thanks to new armor pieces placed on the torso, shoulders, forearms, and legs.

The most distinctive elements of the kit remain the triple shoulder-mounted missile launchers. This equipment and some of the additional armor are removable, allowing for changes to the Mobile Suit's overall appearance and varying display configurations.

Despite its additional equipment, the model maintains good articulation, allowing for dynamic combat poses. The new backpack with its movable stabilizers also reinforces the high-mobility silhouette characteristic of the Stark Jegan.

The arsenal is particularly complete with a Beam Rifle, a Hyper Bazooka, and Beam Sabers. The included stickers also feature Londo Bell markings and unit numbers to customize the model after assembly.

Technical Specifications

The HGUC Stark Jegan uses the Jegan's mechanical base while adding numerous specific parts designed to reproduce its reinforced equipment. The shoulders notably receive the imposing triple missile launchers that immediately give the model its characteristic appearance.

The additional shoulder protection and various armor sections can be removed. The backpack also benefits from specific parts with articulated stabilizers, allowing their position to be adjusted according to the chosen pose.

The arm and leg joints retain sufficient range of motion to pose the Mobile Suit with its Beam Rifle or Hyper Bazooka despite the added bulk of its equipment.

Gunpla Zone Tips

The HGUC RGM-89S Stark Jegan has much more presence than a classic Jegan thanks to its massive shoulders and reinforced equipment. For a representative display of the model, the complete configuration with both missile launchers naturally remains the most spectacular.

The numerous armor panels and mechanical details lend themselves particularly well to panel lining and small paint touch-ups, especially around the thrusters and missiles. Paired with the HGUC NZ-666 Kshatriya, it also allows for recreating their spectacular confrontation at the beginning of Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn.
