HGUC 1/144 - RX-79(G)Ez-8 Gundam EZ8

The HGUC 1/144 RX-79[G]Ez-8 Gundam Ez8 is a Bandai Spirits Gunpla from Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team. Piloted by Shiro Amada, this iconic unit is a heavily modified version of the Ground Type Gundam, rebuilt in the field after sustaining significant damage.

This High Grade Universal Century version, at 1/144 scale, faithfully reproduces the distinctive military silhouette of the Gundam Ez8. Its off-white armor, the absence of the traditional V-Fin on its head, and its reinforced armor plates give it a more realistic and functional appearance than classic Gundams.

The model features modernized proportions and articulation designed to replicate the series' ground combat scenes. The mobility of the neck, torso, shoulders, hips, and ankles allows for natural poses, including kneeling or bracing for a shot.

The main armament includes a 100 mm machine gun, particularly suited for ground engagements. Its magazine can be removed, and the weapon can be displayed in various positions thanks to the model's hands and joints.

A Beam Rifle is also included for battles requiring superior firepower. These two weapons allow for alternating between a conventional military configuration and a presentation closer to traditional Gundam equipment.

The Gundam Ez8 also features an Improved Shield, recognizable by its compact shape and armor reinforcements. Attached to the forearm, it can accompany various defensive poses while maintaining good freedom of movement.

For close combat, the kit includes Beam Sabers with their transparent effects. The hilts can be stored directly in the compartments provided in the legs, replicating the mobile suit's storage system.

The dorsal Parachute Pack is fully removable and includes its securing straps. It allows for replicating the aerial deployment operations of the 08th MS Team and can be replaced by the container from the HGUC 1/144 Ground Type Gundam, sold separately.

With its military design, complete equipment, and central role in the confrontation against Norris Packard's Gouf Custom, the HGUC Gundam Ez8 is an essential piece for fans of The 08th MS Team and collectors of Universal Century ground mobile suits.
