RG 1/144 - Zeta Gundam

The RG 1/144 MSZ-006 Zeta Gundam is a Bandai Spirits Gunpla from Mobile Suit Z Gundam. Piloted by Kamille Bidan, this transformable mobile suit, developed as part of the Zeta project, stands out with its angular silhouette, tricolor armor, and its ability to adopt a flight configuration called Wave Rider.

This Real Grade version at 1/144 scale offers a particularly detailed reproduction of the Zeta Gundam. The numerous part separations, different shades of white and blue, and visible mechanical details enhance the visual density of the model right after assembly.

The kit's main feature is its complete transformation from Mobile Suit form to Wave Rider form. The torso, head, arms, legs, Shield, and Flying Armors are repositioned to form a compact aerial silhouette, without having to replace the entire body with a dedicated structure.

A specially designed Advanced MS Joint for the Zeta Gundam forms the basis of this transformation. This internal structure combines mobility, form-changing mechanisms, and mechanical details in a particularly compact format.

The Flying Armors installed on the back are fully mobile and directly participate in the transformation. They can be oriented around the Mobile Suit form model and then folded down to form the main aerodynamic surfaces of the Wave Rider.

The kit's main armament is a Beam Rifle. Its barrel can receive a Beam effect to replicate its use as a melee weapon, offering an additional configuration to complement classic firing poses.

Two Beam Sabers with transparent effects are also included for close combat. The forearms reproduce the Grenade Launchers integrated into the mobile suit, completing its equipment without adding any additional external weapons.

The large Shield has a streamlined shape specifically adapted for transformation. It protects the Zeta Gundam's arm in Mobile Suit configuration and forms the front of the Wave Rider when the model adopts its flight configuration.

A sheet of Realistic Decals allows adding numerous technical markings to the armor, weapons, and Flying Armors. With its complete transformation and complex mechanical construction, the RG Zeta Gundam is particularly aimed at fans of Kamille Bidan, Mobile Suit Z Gundam, and transformable Real Grade Gunpla.
