HGUC 1/144 - RMS-179 GM II

The HGUC 1/144 RMS-179 GM II is a Bandai Spirits Gunpla from Mobile Suit Z Gundam. Developed from the famous RGM-79 GM, this modernized mass-production mobile suit became one of the main units used by the Earth Federation forces at the beginning of the Gryps conflict.

This High Grade Universal Century version in 1/144 scale reproduces the iconic silhouette of the GM II in its white and red color scheme. Its reinforced torso, new thrusters, and modernized sensors immediately distinguish this evolution from the original GM.

The kit features refined proportions and articulation suitable for combat poses. The shoulders, elbows, hips, knees, and ankles have a good range of motion, allowing the GM II to be displayed in firing, defensive, or close-combat positions.

The head retains the characteristic visor of the GM family, accompanied by additional sensors specific to the RMS-179. The clear parts and included stickers highlight the various detection zones and colored details of the model.

The kit's main armament is a compact Beam Rifle. Its front handle allows for a two-handed grip, offering more natural firing poses and enhancing the military appearance of the mobile suit.

A large red and white Shield completes its defensive equipment. It can be attached to the forearm using its fixing part and combined with the Beam Rifle to recreate the classic configurations of Federation mass-production units.
