HGUC 1/144 - RAS-96 ANKSHA

The HGUC 1/144 RAS-96 Anksha is a Bandai Spirits Gunpla from Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn. Appearing in episode 5, this transformable unit used by the Earth Federation forces is distinguished by its massive silhouette, circular shapes, and imposing aerial configuration.

This High Grade Universal Century version at 1/144 scale faithfully reproduces the Anksha's atypical design. Its broad shoulders, voluminous legs, and large binders installed on the arms give it a particularly striking presence, both in a static pose and in an aerial combat scene.

The main feature of the kit is its ability to switch from Mobile Suit form to flight form. This transformation is reproduced thanks to the model's articulations and the replacement of certain parts, in order to obtain a compact and stable configuration similar to what is seen in Gundam Unicorn.

The different parts of the mobile suit then come together around the central structure to form its characteristic aerial silhouette. This transformation provides genuine display variety and allows the Anksha to be presented in two very different configurations without the need for a second model.

A dedicated display stand is included to hold the Gunpla aloft when displayed in its flight form. It makes it easier to recreate an aerial scene while ensuring good stability for the model despite its significant volume.

The Anksha can also fulfill its role as a Sub Flight System. Thanks to the included bars and connection pieces, another compatible mobile suit can be installed on its upper part. For close combat, the kit also includes two Beam Sabers accompanied by appropriate hands. The model's various movable elements allow for varied poses between terrestrial configuration, aerial combat, and complete transformation.
