RG 1/144 - MS-06S Zaku II

The RG 1/144 MS-06S Char’s Zaku II is a Bandai Spirits Gunpla from Mobile Suit Gundam. Piloted by Char Aznable, this customized version of the Zaku II stands out with its red armor, commander's antenna, and its silhouette, which has become emblematic of the Principality of Zeon.

This Real Grade 1/144 scale version offers a particularly detailed interpretation of the MS-06S. The numerous part separations and different shades of red give more depth to the armor without the need for paint.

The kit adopts a design conceived as that of a real full-scale machine. The armor plates, structural lines, and mechanical details are therefore more numerous than on a classic representation of the Zaku II, while retaining the main visual elements of the original model.

The internal structure is based on a pre-assembled Advanced MS Joint. This compact frame allows the shoulders, arms, waist, and legs to articulate while maintaining the robust proportions characteristic of the Zaku II.

The significant range of motion allows for the reproduction of dynamic poses associated with Char Aznable. The model can be displayed in full acceleration, firing position, or in close combat with its Heat Hawk.

The famous segmented power pipes are reproduced on the head, waist, and legs. Their construction uses separate parts as well as flexible elements to maintain the Zaku II's unique mechanical appearance.

The main armament includes a Zaku Machine Gun equipped with its drum magazine. Its design allows for the classic military silhouette of the unit to be recreated and different firing positions to be formed.

A Zaku Bazooka is also included for heavy attacks. Thanks to the mobility of the arms and shoulders, the model can carry it in several positions or combine it with the Zaku Machine Gun for a fully equipped display.

The Heat Hawk completes the arsenal for close combat. This iconic weapon of the Zeon forces can be held by the model or stored on its equipment when not in use.

A sheet of Realistic Decals allows for the addition of technical markings and metallic-looking details. With its nuanced red armor, internal frame, and complete arsenal, the RG Char’s Zaku II is an essential piece for fans of Char Aznable and Mobile Suit Gundam.
