Collection: Digimon

The series initially tells the story of seven protagonists, more precisely the digisaviors, named Taichi "Tai" Kamiya, Sora Takenouchi, Yamato "Matt" Ishida, Takeru "TK" Takaishi, Koushiro "Izzy" Izumi, Mimi Tachikawa and Joe Kido. As they pass the time at their summer camp, snow accompanied by mysterious small objects falls from the sky. Each child having respectively acquired their object, they are sucked by surprise into a dimensional portal and subsequently land in a world composed solely of digital data, known as the "digimonde", parallel to the "real world". Barely landed, the children discover their respective Digimon devoted to protecting them and dedicated to fighting different and powerful antagonists threatening the digital world. For their part, the seven Digisaviors must learn for themselves the reason for which they were chosen and learn to become stronger by "listening to their hearts"; to do this, they must find their respective symbol to match their personality, at the same time as they teach their Digimon to change their appearance and become temporarily stronger. Throughout the episodes, certain themes such as death, self-sacrifice and family problems are discussed.
