NG 1/100 Zaku Warrior + Blaze Wizard & Gunner Wizard

The ZGMF-1000 ZAKU Warrior joins your collection in a 1/100 scale NG (No Grade) version from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny. Presented in its standard green color, this new-generation Mobile Suit developed by ZAFT can be configured for various mission types thanks to the interchangeable Wizard system.

This particularly comprehensive edition includes both the Blaze Wizard and the Gunner Wizard. The two packs can be alternately installed on the back of the ZAKU Warrior, allowing the same model to transform into a high-speed mobile unit or a Mobile Suit specialized in long-range artillery combat.

The Blaze Wizard consists of an imposing backpack unit equipped with thrusters, movable elements, and missile launchers. Its sleek silhouette enhances the dynamic appearance of the ZAKU Warrior and is particularly suitable for poses depicting rapid movement or spatial combat.

The Gunner Wizard includes the powerful M1500 Orthros long-range beam cannon and a dorsal energy tank. The cannon can be folded against the backpack when not in use, then deployed to the side of the Mobile Suit to recreate a firing position inspired by the series.

The ZAKU Warrior's standard armament also includes a beam assault rifle, a shoulder-mounted shield, and a beam tomahawk. The different weapons can be used with both Wizard Packs to vary configurations and battle scenes.

The model uses an articulated construction from an earlier design than modern Master Grades, but maintains an imposing presence at 1/100 scale. The main colors are directly reproduced by the molded parts, while a sticker sheet allows for completing the details of the Mobile Suit and its equipment.

Zone Gunpla Tips

This model, dating from 2005, is based on an older design than current Master Grades. We advise you to test the articulations and connection points of the Wizard Packs before finalizing assembly.

The Gunner Wizard and its long cannon significantly shift the model's center of gravity. For long-term display, prioritize a stable pose with the legs slightly spread and the cannon positioned to balance the weight of the backpack.

The Gunner Wizard's cable must be cut and installed carefully. Measure its length before the final cut to maintain enough flexibility to properly deploy the Orthros cannon.

To improve the rendering of this older generation of kits, a light panel lining and some touch-ups on the missiles, thrusters, and mechanical details can add more contrast without requiring a full paint job.
