Destined to leave Earth to colonize space, man has finally accomplished his dream, and has built gigantic colonies floating in the interstellar void. These cylinders of several kilometers, artificially recreating within them the conditions of terrestrial life, have thus become the second homeland of the colonists who live there. History changes the day when, determined to become independent, the Duchy of Zeon - the furthest colony from Earth - declares war on the federal forces of Earth.
