HGUC 1/144 - MSK-008 Dijeh

The MSK-008 Dijeh joins the High Grade Universal Century line with this 1/144 scale HGUC version from Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam. Piloted by Amuro Ray when he joined Karaba, the Dijeh stands out with a silhouette that blends Zeon influences and technology from forces allied with the A.E.U.G.

This HGUC version features a completely modern design that faithfully reproduces the Mobile Suit's very particular proportions. Despite its large shoulder armor and large dorsal binders, the model maintains excellent range of motion, allowing for many dynamic poses.

Its main armament includes the Beam Rifle also used by the Hyaku Shiki, as well as a Clay Bazooka. Both weapons can be directly installed on the dorsal binders when not in use, while the Clay Bazooka can also be placed on the left shoulder weapon rack.

For close combat, the Dijeh has its characteristic Beam Naginata. Its handle can be stored directly at the waist, and the included effect parts allow the weapon to be displayed deployed in combat poses.

Bandai also includes an interesting feature for the model's head: in addition to the classic mono-eye appearance, a bonus part with Gundam-type twin eyes details is provided, referencing the particular characteristics of Amuro's Mobile Suit.

Gunpla Zone Tips

The Dijeh has many green and dark blue surfaces particularly suitable for gray or dark brown panel lining. Light work helps to highlight the different armor plates without overloading its already very distinctive design.

The large dorsal binders and attachable equipment on the back offer several display possibilities. When changing weapons, directly manipulate the attachment points to preserve the small pegs used for storage.

The Beam Naginata is one of the Dijeh's most characteristic weapons. Thanks to the dedicated hands provided, favor two-handed poses to highlight the significant mobility of this HGUC version and recall Amuro Ray's combat style.
