STAR WARS - 1/72 X-Wing Starfighter & 1/12 R2-D2 - Premium Bandai

The 1/72 X-wing Starfighter and 1/12 R2-D2 are now available as a set.

The X-wing Starfighter , piloted by Luke Skywalker in Episode IV, is faithfully reproduced in 1:72 scale. The lines on the fuselage sides are colored using molded parts, while the finer lines are rendered using marking stickers. The characteristic internal details are also present, such as the mechanisms at the rear and the various sensors housed in the nose of the aircraft. Two canopy versions are included: one completely transparent and one representing only the frame. The model also includes landing gear to represent flight, landing or maintenance modes, as well as scale figures of the pilot, R2-D2 and parts for R5-D4 .

The 1/12 R2-D2 is carefully reproduced from numerous reference sources, condensing all the details into a small format. The silver parts, such as the head, are highlighted by an extra finish surface treatment. The third leg can be retracted into the main body, just like in the movies. It is also possible to reproduce the iconic walking posture. Several interchangeable arms are included for varied presentations.

This plastic model to assemble, in scale 1/72 and 1/12 , is intended for enthusiasts from 15 years old. Made mainly of PS (polystyrene) , it does not require any glue for assembly.
