STAR WARS - 1/72 X-Wing Starfighter & 1/12 R2-D2 - Premium Bandai

The 1/72 X-wing Starfighter and the 1/12 R2-D2 are now available as a set.

The X-wing Starfighter , piloted by Luke Skywalker in Episode IV, is faithfully reproduced at 1/72 scale. The lines on the fuselage sides are colored using molded parts, while the finer lines are rendered with marking stickers. Characteristic internal details are also present, such as the mechanisms at the rear and the various sensors housed in the nose of the craft. Two canopy versions are included: one fully transparent and one representing only the frame. The model also includes the landing gear to represent flight, landing, and maintenance modes, as well as scale figures of the pilot, R2-D2 , and parts for R5-D4 .

The 1/12 scale R2-D2 boasts meticulous reproduction based on numerous reference sources, condensing every detail into a compact size. Silvered parts, such as the head, are enhanced by an extra-finish surface treatment. The third leg retracts into the main body, just like in the films. It's also possible to recreate the iconic walking pose. Several interchangeable arms are included for a variety of display options.

This plastic model kit, available in 1/72 and 1/12 scale, is designed for enthusiasts aged 15 and up. Made primarily of PS (polystyrene) , it requires no glue for assembly.
